Here is a poem, I JUST penned in a 15min freewriting session… good night xxx An empty wine glass, Flashing fairy lights. A busy diary, Long, cosy, dark nights. A burning fire, A decorated tree. An endless list, Warm cups of tea. Fluffy socks, Hats and scarves. Singing and dancing, Nothing done in halves. Dinners and drinks, Sparkly clothes. Magical stories, That we already know. ~ Rooting For You ~ I first sang this song after a ~ Rooting For You ~ I first sang this song after a student came to me having learnt it, she smashed it and I instantly became addicted to perfecting it myself. Turns out I never can , as it always brings up so much emotion. I started gigging it when I was pregnant singing to what was to come, then the ‘you’ became my Dad , then it became to myself…. It’s a powerful track and some proper vocal gymnastics going on. I love working on my technique and I just love singing it !!!! I’m not gutsy enough to do it fully Acapella yet… maybe one day. I AM GUTTED ITS BROKEN 💔 Although , I must be honest that I’m surprised it lasted this long.
