About Me

13669746_10154581483292697_5326780583273443457_nFrom the wild windswept landscape of the deep Southwest of England comes a singer-songwriter with a power and excitement to match. Jenna Bennett, who is currently based in Brighton as a solo artist, has been writing songs since the tender age of 3. Jenna maps her progression through life in the words she sings and the gentle notes and slamming chords that emanate from her beloved guitar. Seeing Jenna perform is seeing her at her best as she shares her stories in an energetic, open and charismatic way. Her voice is intimate and emotive with songs born of the fragile aggression of someone who fights for her corner. Whether seen solo or supported by her backing vocalist, she’s a must for any song lover looking for a new fix.

* Jenna has gigged with a number of successful acts including: Alabama 3, Seth Lakeman, Ben Howard, Eliza Carthy, Dodgy and Brother and Bones,
* Nominated for the Benevolent Uk Young Songwriters Award 2011 and 2012
* Grand Finalist in Future Music Songwriting Competition 2016 with her song ‘Behind My Eyelids’
* Area Finalist in Open Mic Uk Singing Competition 2016 and awarded ‘Best Original Song of the Night’ with her song ‘ Sometimes
